Privacy Policy for Prompt Queue & Two-Way for ChatGPT

Effective date: July 27, 2026

Prompt Queue & Two-Way for ChatGPT is an independent browser extension and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI.

Data the extension handles

The extension handles user-created prompt text, user-selected files and images, completed ChatGPT responses needed for Two-Way relays, the titles and URLs of open ChatGPT tabs needed for user tab selection, and local queue or session settings.

It does not request or intentionally collect names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, health information, precise location, or general browsing history.

How data is used

This information is used only to provide the extension's user-facing purpose: creating and running prompt queues, preserving drafts, attaching files, waiting for ChatGPT responses to finish, and relaying completed responses between two ChatGPT tabs selected by the user.

Storage and transmission

Prompt drafts, attachment data, queue progress, and Two-Way session state are stored locally in Chrome extension storage on the user's device. The extension does not operate a developer-controlled data server, include advertising or analytics code, or transmit extension data to the developer.

When the user starts a queue or Two-Way session, the extension places the selected prompt text, attachments, or transferred responses into ChatGPT. That content is then processed by ChatGPT under the user's relationship with OpenAI and OpenAI's applicable terms and privacy practices.

Sharing and selling

The developer does not sell user data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to the extension's single purpose. The developer cannot remotely access locally stored prompt or attachment content through the extension.

Retention and deletion

Local data remains in Chrome storage until the user removes queue items or attachments, clears the queue, clears the extension's storage, or uninstalls the extension. Some active per-tab state is also removed when its associated tab closes.

Permissions

  • storage and unlimitedStorage: store queue drafts, attachments, progress, and Two-Way settings locally.
  • tabs: list open ChatGPT tabs and coordinate only the conversations selected by the user.
  • scripting: reconnect the extension's packaged content script when needed after an update or reload.
  • chatgpt.com access: interact only with the ChatGPT page elements required to submit prompts, attach files, detect response completion, and transfer user-selected content.

Security and remote code

The extension contains no remotely hosted executable code and does not download or evaluate external JavaScript or WebAssembly. Content submitted to ChatGPT uses the HTTPS connection provided by chatgpt.com.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The extension's use of information received through Chrome permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide or improve the extension's stated user-facing functionality.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. The effective date will be revised when a material update is made.
